Sprint Raises Text Rates
Sprint Nextel has announced that it is raising the cost of texts to .15 per message. It had previously been charging .10 per text message. The price increase took place on October 1. Most wireless carriers charge .10 per text message and Sprint may be the leaders in convincing other carriers to also raise its rates.
Of course, this has no effect on those with text message bucket plans. Sprint offers an unlimited text message plan for $15 per month and offers 300 text messages for $5 per month.
