TV Game Show Involves Audiences with 900 Numbers and Text Messaging
Philadelphia – Advanced Telecom Services has been selected as the service bureau to provide interactive audience participation services for the Play2Win television program. Play2Win is a late night television game show that debuted on national television on Monday, October 16, 2006.
With Play2Win, viewers are able to call a 900 number for a chance to appear on the live television show. Viewers are also able to enter via text message or online. Those randomly selected from the three entry methods appear live on Play2Win for a chance to win a cash prize.
“We are pleased to see many television shows once again recognizing what a powerful medium 900 numbers can be for audience participation,” said Bob Bentz, director of marketing for Advanced Telecom Services. “By combining 900 numbers with text messaging, you are offering all demographics the chance to participate and get involved with your television programming.”
Advanced Telecom Services provides 900 number and text message services for television channels like ABC, NBC, ESPN, TBS, Spike, American Life Television, WPIX, and WGN. Its interactive phone and text message services have been seen on television shows such as Wide World of Sports, The Bachelor, and World Wrestling Entertainment.
