Canadian Telco Offers Adult Mobile Content
Canadian telco Telus has added an adults only section to its portal making it the first North American carrier to offer adult cell phone content. The service offers images of naked men and women to be sent to the cell phone for $3 or short video clips for $4.
Telus says it offered this service in response to its study of what most of its customers were using cell phones on the mobile internet for. Of course, there’s always somebody trying to ruin the fun. The Roman Catholic Archdioces of Vancouver has called for a boycott of Telus. Let’s hope Telus sticks to its guns and continues with the offering.
