Tampa Bay Devil Rays Offer Texting Contest
Fans send text messages during home games of the Rays to enter contests. In return, the fans could get their message displayed on the LED screen in the ballpark and be entered into different contests. The New York Mets also signed with the same developer earlier, in January of this year for the same type of SMS plan.
