So You HAD To Have That New Phone?

So many of you had to have the brand new iPhone. Even at a staggering $600 to $800 dollars. You had to be the first to have the latest and greatest (?) in mobile phone technology.
All I can say is ha ha ha ha ha.
Steve Jobs announced yesterday that the price of the 8GB iPhone model would be slashed by 33 percent. That’s about 200 bucks.
And then all the whiny techno-geek wanna-be’s screamed, “It’s not fair!”.
Please, give me a break. If you’re naive enough to buy the first edition of anything, and it costs as much as most peoples mortgage payments, then you get what you deserve.
Everyone knows you should never buy the “first” version of anything in technology; it most always has kinks that have not been worked out yet. People who do buy the first, are essentially guinea pigs for the company, so they can improve the next version for the rest of us.
And everyone also knows that prices in technology fall drastically after the initial “wow” factor has waned (remember VCR’s? DVD players?).
But Steve Jobs did what most parents are forced to do when their whiny child won’t quit, he gave in. He is giving all you whiny brats a refund of $100 dollars.
Now clean up your room or you won’t get to watch Star Treck!
