Text Messaging Time by Age Group
This chart from the Austin-Statesman shows the time spent using text messaging per day by age group. It seems high to me, but it’s their text message study.

It seems as though text messaging has become the new form of communication for the younger generations. A new company called Mogotxt has developed a console for the itouch which is also compatible with all cell phone carriers to enable free text messaging. This is an awesome feature for those youngsters who dont yet have a phone, but have an itouch and want to communicate with their pals. Everything is free, just go to the website and sign up with your cell number or email address…www.mogotxt.com
