Teen Girls More Likely to Have Cell Phones

In 2007, 91% of 17-year-old American girls had cell phones compared to 78% of 17-year-old American boys. This is according to a study by MultiMedia Intelligence.
At age 13, however, exactly 57% of both girls and boys owned cell phones.
