You Won’t Believe These Vacation Prices
The internet can be an amazing thing. It really spurs competition.
For years, I’ve been planning vacations through hotels and traditional vacation spots. I don’t know why I never considered a vacation home rental. I guess I just figured there’s no way we could afford it and I wasn’t sure of the quality.
This is a part of the internet that the hotel industry would rather none of us know about so I guess I’m kind of letting you in on a secret of some kind. I mean, you can get places cheaper than hotel rooms and instead of being cramped in one room, you’ll have an entire house. Many of the homes have pools and other ammenities. Plus, if you desire, you can use the kitchen and cook your own food rather than eating at expensive high calorie restaurants. Who wouldn’t want to experience what it really is like to live in Paris in a neighborhood rather than visiting the hotel lobby gift shop!
Plus, if you have teens like I do, you know you don’t want to keep them in a single room with Mom and Dad. Not to mention that Mom and Dad need some private time for a legitimate vacation too.
It seems like HomeAway.com has just about everything you can imagine. I couldn’t believe that they even offered houseboats! If that doesn’t float your boat, try a chalet or even a … castle.
