53% of Texters are 35+
We all know that young adults rely on their cell phones for the vast majority of their communications. In fact, 82% of adults 18-24 are avid text message users. Of the 25-49 age group, 72% use text messages.
But, when you look at the overall users of text messaging, 53% of those who send and receive text messages are 35-years-old and up.
Text messaging is not just for the young any more.

i belive that when texting first came about only old rich ppl could aford it
