Cell Phone Only Households Top 20%

Americans continue to cut the cord on their home landline phones.

Over 20% of American households are now cell phone-only households according to information published by mobile marketing site 84444.com.

You have to wonder why anybody needs a landline phone any more.  I find mine to be quite annoying when I’m at home, but I unfortunately have to have one because I live in cell phone dead zone.

My kids actually wanted to move because of this, but eventually T-Mobile’s Hot Zone fixed the problem.
