Teens: Average 3146 Texts per Month
We’ve all seen it. Teens glued to their cell phones sending text messages…to the kid on the other side of
the room.
But, just how much do teens text?
Nielsen analyzed over 40,000 mobile phone bills of USA teens to determine their texting habits. The research firm found that American teens send an average of 10 text messages per hour while awake. That’s an average of 3,146 text messages per month!
Wonder how many text messages children send? Try 1,146 per month among those aged 9 - 12.
