Is Submit Edge a Waste of Money?

There has been a lot of talk that directory submission is not a worthwhile task when looking to improve a web site’s SEO.  I can tell you from direct experience that this is not the case.

While the majority of directory listings may be useless, there are still some that carry SEO weight.  Would I build an SEO campaign completely out of submitting to directories?  Absolutely not.  That would be dumb.

What I have found, however, is that submitting to directories through a service like SubmitEdge is a great way to get initial indexing of a new web site.  That’s when I believe that the services of SubmitEdge are most valuable.

Search engine optimization is a complex and varied business.  There’s a lot of tools at your disposal.  The key is to pick the right ones and maximize its use.
