Spending on Mobile Marketing to Exceed $1.2 Billion
The mobile marketing platform is quickly taking off. Based on data from a recent survey, ABI Research predicted that spending on mobile display advertisements will exceed $1.2 billion by 2015, nearly quadrupling the $313 million mark of today. ABI also found that 28% of mobile subscribers reported to have accessed the mobile Internet daily.
ABI says that mobile marketing will not only affect smart phone users, but has the potential to extend to mobile devices of all kinds. The other mobile ad formats include: text messaging, search advertising, and video ads within apps.
With these statistics in mind, companies have been attentively budgeting for mobile marketing campaigns, some expanding their allowances for mobile marketing by 25 to 30 percent.
A mobile marketing campaign is the perfect solution for on-the-go consumers in our tech-savvy world.
